1. Introduction
Welcome to HDI CAMPUS. By accessing or using our website, Learning Management System (LMS), and related services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you must refrain from using our services.
2. About HDI CAMPUS
HDI CAMPUS is an educational institution offering diploma, undergraduate, and postgraduate programs through onsite, online, and blended learning modes, including access via a Learning Management System (LMS).
3. Definitions
- LMS โ The online learning platform used by HDI CAMPUS (including LearnPress / ilms).
- Student Account โ A user account with individual login credentials assigned to each student.
- Course Content โ Videos, documents, quizzes, assignments, and all other digital learning materials provided through the LMS or other platforms.
4. Eligibility
- Users must be at least 16 years of age or have parental or guardian consent.
- All registration information must be accurate, complete, and kept up to date at all times.
5. Student Registration & LMS Access
- Students must create an account to access LMS features.
- Each student is responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of their login credentials.
- Login credentials must not be shared with any third party.
- HDI CAMPUS reserves the right to:
- Suspend or terminate accounts with false or misleading information
- Restrict access in cases of suspicious activity or multiple simultaneous logins
6. Course Enrollment & Access
- Enrollment is confirmed only after successful registration and required payment.
- Access to courses is granted for a specified period, depending on the program or subscription.
- Access may be automatically suspended or revoked upon expiration of the access period or non-payment.
7. LMS Usage Policy
Students agree to:
- Use the LMS strictly for educational purposes
- Refrain from copying, reproducing, distributing, or sharing course content without authorization
- Not record, download, or redistribute live sessions, videos, or learning materials without permission
- Maintain appropriate conduct during live classes and discussions
Any violation may result in suspension or termination of access without refund.
8. Live Classes and Online Sessions
- Access to live classes (e.g., via Zoom or similar platforms) is provided only to eligible students.
- Students must join sessions using their registered name.
- HDI CAMPUS reserves the right to remove participants who engage in inappropriate or disruptive behavior.
9. Assignments, Examinations, and Evaluation
- Students must submit assignments through the LMS within specified deadlines.
- Late submissions may be subject to penalties or rejection.
- Assessments may include:
- Online examinations
- Automated quizzes
- Viva tests (oral examinations), where applicable
Academic misconduct, including plagiarism or cheating, may result in disciplinary action.
10. Fees, Subscriptions, and Payments
- Access to courses and LMS features may be subject to:
- Full payment
- Installment plans
- Subscription-based access
- Students must ensure timely payments to maintain uninterrupted access.
- HDI CAMPUS reserves the right to suspend access for overdue payments.
11. Refund Policy
- Registration fees are strictly non-refundable.
- Course fees or subscription payments are non-refundable once access has been granted.
- Any exceptions are subject to the discretion of HDI CAMPUS and may include administrative deductions.
12. Technical Requirements
- Students are responsible for ensuring access to:
- A stable internet connection
- Compatible devices and software
- HDI CAMPUS is not responsible for interruptions caused by:
- Internet connectivity issues
- Device incompatibility
- Third-party platform failures
13. Intellectual Property
- All course materials and website content are the intellectual property of HDI CAMPUS or its partners.
- Unauthorized use, reproduction, or distribution of content is strictly prohibited.
14. Third-Party Services
HDI CAMPUS may utilize third-party platforms, including but not limited to:
- Learning management systems (e.g., LearnPress / ilms)
- Communication tools (e.g., Zoom)
Use of such services is subject to their respective terms and conditions.
15. Certification
- Certificates will be issued only upon:
- Successful completion of all academic requirements
- Full settlement of all applicable fees
- Partner institutions may impose additional requirements for certification.
16. Suspension and Termination
HDI CAMPUS reserves the right to suspend or terminate student access in cases of:
- Non-payment
- Violation of these Terms
- Misuse of LMS or course materials
No refunds will be provided in such cases.
17. Privacy and Data Protection
- Student information will be collected and processed for academic and administrative purposes.
- By using our services, you consent to such data processing in accordance with institutional policies.
18. Modifications to Terms
HDI CAMPUS reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time. Continued use of services constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
19. Limitation of Liability
HDI CAMPUS shall not be held liable for:
- Any indirect or consequential losses
- Interruptions in service or technical issues
- Outcomes related to academic performance or employment opportunities
20. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of Sri Lanka.
