Program Description

Program Structure

The PhD in Computer Science is structured to be completed in 1.5 to 2 years, divided into two key phases:

Phase 1 (First 6–9 months): Research Preparation and Proposal

Stage Details
Research Methodology & Advanced Seminars Attend workshops on research methods, advanced computing topics, and academic writing.
Comprehensive Literature Review Conduct a detailed literature review on the chosen research area.
Research Proposal Development & Defense Develop a robust research proposal and defend it before the doctoral committee.

Phase 2 (Remaining 9–15 months): Research Execution & Thesis

Stage Details
Conduct Original Research Carry out in-depth research with faculty supervision.
Publication of Research Papers Publish at least two (2) peer-reviewed articles (HDI CAMPUS facilitates publication via AcademicJournal).
Thesis Writing Write a comprehensive doctoral thesis (50,000 – 80,000 words).
Thesis Defense (Viva Test) Defend the thesis in a formal Viva Test.
Thesis Publication Thesis will be published via HDI CAMPUS Publication Portal or AcademicJournal (for international indexing & DOI).
